Billionaire businessman and 2027 presidential hopeful, Jimmy Wanjigi, has sparked debate online after revealing in a quick-fire interview with a popular digital media outlet that he has never boarded a matatu in his life.
Wanjigi, who was born and raised in a wealthy family, grew up enjoying a life of privilege. His father, a prominent businessman, is credited with pioneering the idea behind the construction of Thika Road. Having attended some of the best schools in the country, Wanjigi has always been accustomed to luxury.
During the interview, he openly admitted that his upbringing shielded him from public transport, as his family owned a fleet of cars. Today, Wanjigi himself boasts several high-end vehicles and private choppers, a lifestyle he says he has known since childhood.
