Maseno University student, Diana, has recently disclosed startling information about her HIV-positive status and the number of individuals, including lecturers, she claims to have infected.
In a candid Facebook post, Diana, a first-year student at Maseno University since 2017, bravely shared her story, revealing that she is living with HIV despite her outwardly attractive appearance.
Expressing the origins of her condition, Diana explained that she contracted the virus from a neighbor after completing high school. The emotional burden she carried led her to a decision that shocked many – infecting others as a way to cope with her own suffering.
Diana confessed to having infected 273 fellow students and three lecturers since joining Maseno University, with a bold proclamation that she is on a mission to claim another 1,000 victims within the next four years.
In her post, she stated, “I resorted to doing this after realizing there is no way I could die alone and leave millions of other Kenyans in peace – I had to swallow some.” Diana mentioned that witnessing her peers taking antiretroviral medication brought her a sense of relief.
Despite living with the virus, Diana appears to maintain a facade of normalcy at Maseno University, responding to those she infected with a nonchalant attitude, asking, “Did I force you?” whenever confronted.
In a chilling promise, she hinted at revealing the names of those she has infected in the near future.
This shocking revelation has sparked concerns within the university community, highlighting the importance of addressing and raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, as well as providing support for those affected.
