Akothee, the successful entrepreneur and musician, has certainly lived up to the saying “you kiss many frogs before finding your prince”. Despite being in her 40s, she has had several relationships, some leading to marriage and others ending at the dating stage. While the exact number of her romantic affairs remains unknown, we can confirm that there have been many.
Akothee’s first marriage was to Jared Okello, with whom she had four children – three girls and a boy who tragically passed away at just eight months old. She filed for divorce, and the marriage was dissolved in 2007. Since then, she has confidently moved from one relationship to another while blocking out all negativity.
After relocating to Mombasa, Akothee caught the eye of several white men. She eventually had a son with her Swiss baby daddy, whom they named Prince Oyoo. She also had a baby boy with her French ex-lover, whom they called Prince Ojwang. Despite having several baby daddies, Akothee has managed to maintain healthy relationships and an enviable co-parenting arrangement with some of them. Most of the time, her sons are with their fathers.
Before meeting her new husband, Denis Schweizer, whom she wedded recently, Akothee was in a relationship with her former manager, Nelly Oaks. Despite having been through several relationships, Akothee has remained resilient, and her positive attitude towards life has made her an inspiration to many.
