During an exclusive interview with a local channel, Winnie Odinga, the second daughter of Kenya’s opposition leader, shared that she is friends with Kenyan rapper Trio Mio. According to her, she has known him for a long time and is impressed by his intelligence, stating that he passed his KCSE exams with flying colors, earning multiple A’s. She expressed her love for Trio and his upcoming album, which she described as a “banger”.
Ms. Odinga also revealed her love for Kenyan musicians such as Khaligraph Jones, and named several other artists she enjoys listening to, including Boutross, Wakadinali, Nameless, and Jua Kali. When it comes to TV shows, she mentioned her fondness for Kenyan shows like “Single Kiasi” on Showmax, with her favorite content creator being Kalondu Musyimi.
Regarding her plans for 2023, Winnie Odinga stated that she is focused on technology and digitalization. She believes that access to computers and the internet is crucial for people to achieve their goals and is working on creating digital labs to improve this. She also hopes to remove tax issues for content creators. Finally, she mentioned that she is involved in multiple fields herself, just like her father, who is an engineer turned politician.
