COTU Secretary-General, Francis Atwoli has come out claiming that he spoke to God Who revealed to him that Ruto will not be the next president after Uhuru Kenyatta.
The controversial trade Unionist has been in the forefront in campaigning for Orange Democratic Movement party leader, Raila Odinga’s 2022 presidential bid.
Atwoli was speaking at the burial of the mother of Bungoma Businessman, Moses Nandwake’s mother on Saturday where he spelt doom for Jubilee Party saying that it is now on its dead bed.
“Sounds are coming from God saying William Ruto will not be president, he underrates and demeans Luhyas and I’m telling you today, people are positioning and repositioning themselves, they know where they are going,” Atwoli said.
“Do not dismiss Raila Odinga because of his age.”
“If he decides to run for president, it will be something else as he has many supporters. He will turn the tables,” he stated.
