Esther Musila, the wife of gospel artist Guardian Angel, has shared more details about her romantic journey and expressed profound gratitude for the life they’ve built together.
In a recent interview, Esther, who is 50, described meeting Guardian Angel as a magical turning point in her life. It was at this age, four years ago, that she crossed paths with the musician, and their bond has only grown stronger with time.
Reflecting on their marriage, Esther expressed her thanks to Guardian Angel’s former girlfriends for walking away, allowing her to find her soulmate. “Nashukuru sana wasichana waliomuacha Guardian Angel akiteseka kwa sababu walinipatia mume,” she said, acknowledging how their decisions paved the way for her happiness.
Guardian Angel also weighed in on the dynamics of their relationship, emphasizing that age is not a determining factor in the success of a marriage. He noted that some people who married younger partners ended up parting ways in less than six months.
“Kama age ndio the ultimate factor ya kuconsider, kuna watu wengi wameoana hivyo na wambreak up. Kuna watu ambao walioana mimi nikianza kudate mke wangu na wako na hiyo age tunaongelea na sai hawako pamoja,” he remarked.
He further stressed that his commitment to Esther transcends societal opinions and age differences. “Commitment yangu kwa mke wangu inaenda beyond age and opinions za watu. Kwa sababu mkiingia kwa hiyo kitanda ni wewe na mke wako, hamna jamaa wa opinion hapo. Mimi as long as niko happy, hiyo ndio inamatter. Wewe kwanza si wetu, nilikupata tu Nairobi sasa hisia zako zinanihusu na nini?”
The couple’s love story culminated in a private wedding ceremony on January 4, 2022. Recently, they celebrated Guardian Angel’s 35th birthday and their second wedding anniversary, a testament to their enduring bond and shared joy.
