A shocking incident unfolded at a primary school in Western Kenya after a Class 5 boy was caught carrying a panga concealed in his school uniform.
According to reports, the pupil had smuggled the sharp weapon into class with the intention of attacking a fellow learner after a debate session. Fortunately, a vigilant teacher noticed something unusual and intercepted him before the situation turned dangerous.
In a video making rounds online, the young boy is seen reluctantly pulling out the panga after being summoned to the staffroom. The weapon had been cleverly tucked inside his uniform, making it almost impossible for teachers and classmates to suspect he was armed.
The quick action by the teacher prevented what could have been a tragic incident in the school.
