Ruling Jubilee Party has finally removed DP Ruto and his allies from its members from the party register.
The move by Jubilee officials to kick out Ruto from its party will serve the DP a major blow to his 2022 presidential bid.
Signing the official statement, Jubilee Party Secretary General, Raphael Tuju on Thursday, said that the move is aimed at revamping the already sinking party as it gears for the general elections.
“The Jubilee Deputy Party Leader and his small team of rebellious allies have officially said that they have left the Jubilee party for UDA.”
“We, therefore, cannot understand the anger and bitterness we see in them when they hear that Jubilee is revamping, in preparation of the 2022 general elections,” part of the statement read
Ruto is also accused of transversing the country accusing the government while at the same time riding on the wave of its better sides of developments.
