Ruto’s Ukambani wingman and former Machakos Senator, Johnstone Muthama has expressed his confidence with DP Ruto becoming the fifth Kenyan president.
Taking to tweeter, Muthama said that he is 100 percent sure that Ruto will win the 2022 General Elections.
“With or without President Uhuru Kenyatta and Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto will win the presidency in 2022.”
“God and the people of Kenya are backing him,” Johnstone Muthama said in a tweet.
Muthama’s sentiments comes in the wake of an Uhuru-Raila coalition which according to analysts, will suffer a blow to Ruto’s presidential bid.
Muthama and other DP Ruto’s allies have been in the forefront in fighting for the DP’s welfare in statehouse saying that the BBI Bill seeks to cripple Ruto’s ambitions.
