Comedian Dem Wa Facebook recently clarified the situation surrounding a video where he was shown receiving a bundle of clothes at Mulamwah’s residence from Ruth K.
In a conversation with Obinna, Dem Wa Facebook disclosed that despite the appearance in the video, he didn’t take all the clothes home with him from Ruth K’s living room in their new home with Mulamwah. He mentioned trying on about 15 outfits, but ultimately only brought home three, which he currently refrains from wearing.
“I didn’t request for the clothes; otherwise, I would have worn them if I had truly asked for them. Though it was a brief moment, I ended up taking only three items back with me, but I’m cautious about wearing them now because of the potential rumors that they might belong to Mulamwah’s wife, even the ones I bought from Gikomba,” he explained.
“I tried on 15 outfits; she mentioned giving me 15, but in reality, I left with just three. Now everyone suggests I wear Ruth K’s clothes, and I’m uncertain which ones they’re referring to,” the comedian added.
However, Dem Wa Facebook expressed gratitude to Ruth K for the gesture but urged people not to assume that every garment he wears belongs to her.
Last week, Ruth K uploaded a video on her YouTube channel featuring Dem Wa Facebook at their new home, where she appeared to gift him clothes before they entered the bedroom. During the exchange, Ruth K mentioned that the clothing she provided was insufficient due to her body changes post-pregnancy and childbirth.
