Activist Eric Omondi has addressed rumors linking him to the Illuminati, firmly denying any affiliation with the secretive organization.
In an interview with blogger Trudy Kitui, Omondi clarified that the rumors started during his time as a comedian on the Churchill Show.
He recounted an incident where an unknown individual contacted him, seeking help to join the Illuminati. Despite Omondi’s attempts to dissuade the person, they persisted, even offering money to facilitate their entry into the group. Eventually, Omondi took the money and chastised the individual for their foolishness.
“That rumor has been around since I was on the Churchill Show. Someone called me during the day asking for help to join the Illuminati. I told them I didn’t know what the Illuminati was and that I wasn’t a member. They called again at night, insisting I help them join,” Omondi explained.
“I told them I would help them join the Illuminati, but to keep it a secret. I told them the entry fee was 100K, but for now, they should send me 50K, bring a white goat, and 25K more, and then I’d give them further instructions. They sent the money. If there’s any money I’ve ever taken, it’s that one. They called twice; I told them they were very foolish and later blocked them,” Omondi added.
Omondi, who is considering a career in politics, advised young people to work hard instead of believing that joining the Illuminati would guarantee effortless success.
“People must work. What is this about the Illuminati? The reason I took that person’s money is that they insisted on joining the Illuminati through me,” he said.
