Musician Brown Mauzo, whose real name is Fredrick Mutinda, has opened up about his relationship with socialite Vera Sidika for the first time. Mauzo revealed that their union came to an end in June 2023, but he chose to make the announcement two months later in an exclusive interview with Nairobi News.
Mauzo disclosed that there were several instances when he had separated from Vera before their final breakup, citing various reasons that were not aligned with his goals. Reflecting on their time together, he described their marriage as wonderful but noted that Vera’s actions often surprised him.
While acknowledging the end of their relationship, Mauzo expressed a desire for people not to focus on who initiated the connection. He opted not to delve into the specifics of how their love story began, emphasizing his wish to maintain a positive perspective on Vera’s side.
Recalling a memorable moment, Mauzo highlighted Vera’s decision to convert to Islam to align with his religious beliefs. He described this act as a significant sacrifice for the sake of their relationship and expressed appreciation for her commitment. According to Mauzo, Vera embraced Islam and adopted the Muslim name Zara.
