Nuru Okanga, a devoted supporter of Azimio, has commenced his first year at Saint Aquinas Ebuchinga. Okanga, known for his unwavering support for Azimio, recently enrolled in school.
In a conversation with a segment of the media, Okanga revealed that he postponed his Form One admission due to prior commitments related to corporate social responsibilities.
The decision to return to school stemmed from Okanga’s realization that he lacked the minimum academic qualifications to pursue a political position. Despite his active involvement in political and family responsibilities, Okanga opted for a day school to balance both aspects of his life.
“I have chosen a day school to ensure I fulfill my duties to my family. Although we are expected to be dismissed at 6:00 pm, I plan to request the principal to allow me to leave by 4:00 pm so that I can actively engage in political matters and spend quality time with my family,” he explained.
Acknowledging the support of his wife, Okanga praised her for standing by him and offering prayers throughout his academic journey.
“My wife is fully supportive; she will even assist me in this endeavor. We’ve had discussions, and she has affirmed her commitment to praying for my entire educational journey,” he expressed.
Okanga also appealed to Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM party, to facilitate his academic pursuit by covering his entire tuition fees and rent.
