ATWOLI speaks on killing former Kabete MP GEORGE MUCHAI after a video emerged implicating him in the cold-blooded murder

COTU Secretary-General, Francis Atwoli, has come out blazing after being implicated in the cold-blooded murder of former Kabete MP, the late George Muchai.

Tending to the glaring issue at hand, Atwoli denied playing a part in the murder of Muchai, who was also his deputy in COTU.

He asked those with proof that will assist with the investigation concerning Muchai’s death to bring it up.

His comments came after a segment of social media users connected him to Muchai’s demise while sharing a video of the MP lamenting that his life was in danger.

Be that as it may, Atwoli said, as a family man, it is basically impossible that he was associated with the planning of the MP and fellow trade unionist’s murder.

“As I said at the time then, in my community if you have a family you can’t plan and execute evil or kill, but whoever holds the truth you are free to release for justice as opposed to propaganda,” he said

In the video cut shared by Activist Boniface Mwangi, the late MP is heard regretting over a story he said was fabricated to connect him to a love triangle where he is accused of eloping with someone’s wife.

He said the story was cooked by individuals who want to eliminate him and blame his woes on the alleged love triangle issue.

The MP was entangled in an extended tussle with Atwoli whom he blamed for indecency.

He had called for his resignation and threatened to launch a petition to kick him out.

Sadly, he was killed on February 7, 2015, in Nairobi before he could launch his threats
