Controversial content creator and former radio presenter Andrew Kibe, currently residing in the USA, recently stirred up controversy by expressing his opinions on the physical appearance of Luhya ladies. Known for his outspoken and unapologetic nature, Kibe took the opportunity to critique the aesthetics of Luhya women during a live podcast on YouTube where he compared women from various Kenyan tribes.
At the pinnacle of his admiration were the Kisii ladies, whom Kibe praised as top-tier women with attractive figures and overall beauty. He even singled out Corazon Kwamboka as an exemplar of the allure possessed by Kisii women, suggesting that they have captivated Kenyan men’s attention.
However, Kibe’s commentary took a different turn when he placed Luhya ladies at the bottom of his list. Despite acknowledging their commendable trait of cleanliness, he asserted that their facial appearances, in particular, fell short of being aesthetically pleasing. According to Kibe, a significant number of Luhya women are perceived as unattractive, lacking in facial appeal.

He went on to claim that the few beautiful Luhya women often find themselves in the company of senior politicians. Kibe mentioned figures like Azziad Nasenya as examples, emphasizing that individuals such as Bonnie Khalwale and Ababu Na Mwamba are commonly associated with them.
In his candid words, Kibe remarked, “Waluhya ni Wasafi sana, lakini shida ni sura zao, ni mbaya sana,” loosely translated as “Luhya ladies are very clean, but the issue lies in their faces; they are not attractive. If you find beautiful Luhya ladies like Azziad, you’ll often see people like Khalwale accompanying them,” highlighting his straightforward and unfiltered commentary on the matter.
