Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalas, has pledged his backing for Stevo Simple Boy’s music career following the setback of his social media accounts.
In an exclusive interview with digital journalists, the legislator expressed his readiness to support Stevo Simple Boy, acknowledging the numerous hurdles the artist has encountered in his musical journey.
Jalas asserted that the challenges faced by Stevo, particularly with his management, can be addressed. He committed to reaching out to the “Fresh Barida” crooner for a frank discussion to rectify the current issues affecting his music career.
“Mniletee Stevo. Ni mtu wangu. Ninataka nijue anasema nini kwa sababu ana accounts zake na asikosane tena na management na producer. Anything he needs that I am capable of, I will help him,” Jalas stated during the interview.
Furthermore, Jalas emphasized the importance of Stevo Simple Boy’s commitment to his music career, urging him to steer clear of unnecessary conflicts.
“Siku Stevo ataacha drama arudi kwa mziki atakuwa sawa,” he remarked, highlighting the significance of focusing on music rather than getting entangled in controversies.
Despite the prolonged disputes between Stevo and his management, Jalas believes that the artist has the potential to succeed in the music industry once he prioritizes his craft.
Recently, Stevo received a generous donation of a vehicle and financial support from a Nairobi businessman to facilitate his music video production. In a video shared by Simple Boy, he expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support received from Mr. Mwenda.
