Shakilla, an emerging figure in the social scene, recently unveiled private exchanges with former radio DJ Andrew Kibe on her Instagram account. Shortly thereafter, she utilized the same platform to expose Eric Omondi.
Accusing the comedian of exploiting her for free publicity in promoting his performances, Shakilla pointed to instances where Omondi allegedly failed to compensate her and fellow cast members during the filming of his infamous Wife Material show in 2021. Despite her attempts to contact him for overdue payments, Eric Omondi has not responded to her calls, leaving her uncompensated up to the present moment.
In a surprising turn of events, Mishi Dora issued a warning by featuring Shakilla, a potential socialite, in a shooting incident. This incident, according to Shakilla, played a pivotal role in her decision to adopt a dramatic persona to leverage the situation for personal gain.
Expressing her grievances on Instagram live, Shakilla lamented, “Eric has used me in so many ways. He did not pay me or anyone on the Wife Material show and was biased and unfair in choosing the winner, so I had to come up with a clever way to benefit from the show.” She went on to emphasize that if she couldn’t secure monetary compensation, at least she aimed to gain increased social media visibility.
Additionally, Shakilla urged Eric Omondi to align his actions with his professed support for local talents. She criticized his alleged exploitation of individuals without adequately compensating content creators, questioning his commitment to supporting artists.
As of now, Eric Omondi has not issued a response to the serious allegations made against him by Shakilla.
