Nairobi was rocked by the mysterious death of Evance Akoko, popularly known as Akoko Billionaire, a young entrepreneur famed for his ostentatious lifestyle.
Akoko, who reportedly made millions through forex trading, cryptocurrency, and other online ventures, was found dead last night under unclear circumstances.
Despite his youth, Akoko lived a life that captivated many on social media. He frequently showcased his wealth through luxury vehicles, high-end fashion, and extravagant nights in the city’s upscale clubs.
Known for buying expensive drinks and flaunting bundles of cash, Akoko earned a reputation as a high-flying businessman.
In some of his public appearances, Akoko was captured in videos flamboyantly displaying his wealth. One notable instance, captured in an older video, shows him handing out countless one-thousand-shilling notes during a show by popular artist Prince Indah.
Interestingly, the flashy trader was still a student at Kirinyaga University, balancing his studies with his ventures into the financial markets.
His death comes just a month after his close friend and fellow forex trader, Denno Bright, also passed away under mysterious circumstances.
Bright died during a vacation in Mombasa, where he and his friends had rented a three-bedroom Airbnb. His lifeless body was discovered after a night of heavy drinking.
