Festus Amimo’s Mum Promises Not to Disinherit Daughter-In-Law: “Nikipata Kidogo Tunakula”

Festus Amimo’s mother has vowed not to repeat history after stating that she will not be fighting her son’s wife, Rosie, over property.

Amimo, who was the head of Mayienga FM collapsed and died on December 7, leaving his family and the media fraternity into mourning.

His wife had recently shared how despite being married an an early age, even before getting her KCSE certificate, Amimo, made one promise which was to take care of her.

She affirmed that he kept his promise till his death and that they would argue anytime she proposed to get a job or start a business.

At his burial, his mum also recalled how she lost all property when her husband died and vowed not to do a similar thing to her daughter in law.

The grieving mum also praised Rosie for taking good care of her and noted that only death will separate them.

“I told him that there is nothing that belongs to his friend that I will over with her. Whether it is money, property or wealth. I will not fight over those things with her because I know how I was fought over things when my husband died. They took KSh 1.3 million and I was left empty handed with nothing for my children. My daughter, the little you get give me, the little I will get, I will give you,” she said.
