Bullfighter Boni Khalwale tells off Mudavadi as he defends Natembeya-We Mudavadi uko na nguvu gani yakutisha kuangusha Natembeya?

Former Senator Boni Khalwale has openly criticized ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, defending Trans-Nzoia Governor George Natembeya and questioning Mudavadi’s ability to influence political outcomes in the region.

Speaking passionately, Khalwale dismissed Mudavadi’s claims as overblown, asking, “We Mudavadi, uko na nguvu gani yakutisha kuangusha Natembeya? Raila amekuwa akikuangusha hapa Western for many years, hiyo nguvu ilikuwa wapi?

He went on to assert that even he had successfully challenged Mudavadi in his own backyard, highlighting Mudavadi’s inability to intimidate or overpower local political structures. “Mimi mwenyewe nimekuangusha kwako nyumbani Sabatia. Utaweza kutisha Natembeya Kitale kweli? Natembeya is going nowhere, Wetangula ameshindwa kumuuwa jana, sasa tuko macho,” Khalwale added.

Khalwale’s remarks are a direct challenge to Mudavadi’s influence in Trans-Nzoia and the wider Western region, emphasizing that Natembeya’s position remains secure. The fiery statements also reflect the growing tension ahead of the 2027 general elections, as political heavyweights position themselves for influence in key counties.

Analysts say Khalwale’s intervention is likely to rally Natembeya’s supporters while sending a clear warning to opponents that any attempts to destabilize his administration will be closely watched and countered.
