Residents of Bosansa village were left horrified after a gruesome incident that unfolded like a scene from a horror film. A man identified as Ogoro allegedly killed his wife in cold blood before consuming parts of her body — and even feeding some of the remains to his two young children.
The shocking discovery was made when alarmed neighbors, disturbed by strange noises from his homestead, decided to confront him. On entering the house, they were met with a terrifying scene that sent shockwaves through the entire community.
Authorities later confirmed that Ogoro had a dark past. He had once been suspected in the mysterious death of his first wife years earlier, though the case was never resolved. Despite the cloud of suspicion, he remarried — only for tragedy to strike again.
Reports also linked him to heavy drug abuse and possible mental health struggles, which may have contributed to the shocking act.
What unsettled villagers most was the chilling revelation that Ogoro frequently served meat to visitors. Many now fear they may have unknowingly consumed human flesh.
“It is terrifying; we are living in fear even to imagine it,” one villager said.
The community’s anger quickly reached a breaking point. On Tuesday, enraged residents armed with crude weapons stormed Ogoro’s home, overpowered him, and killed him on the spot. They later set his body ablaze, describing it as justice for his wife and a warning against such atrocities.
Police have since launched investigations to piece together the harrowing events, even as Bosansa remains gripped by grief, fear, and outrage.
