Tanzanian entertainer Hamisa Mobetto, who first gained fame as a video vixen before venturing into music, recently shared a deeply personal revelation about her journey to motherhood with Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz. In an emotional interview on Wasafi FM’s The Switch, Mobetto recounted the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages before the couple successfully welcomed their son, Dylan.
Mobetto revealed that her first pregnancy with Diamond ended in a miscarriage while she was abroad. She then endured two more miscarriages before finally giving birth to Dylan on their fourth attempt.
Reflecting on the experience, she shared:
“I experienced three pregnancies before welcoming Dylan into the world. The first time, during our travels abroad, I had a miscarriage. The following two pregnancies ended the same way. But Dylan’s arrival was a turning point. Throughout that pregnancy, Diamond and I stayed together until the day he was born.”
Despite the joy of Dylan’s birth, Mobetto disclosed that Diamond requested a DNA test to quell any doubts or rumors. She agreed, explaining the process:
“We underwent DNA testing, and several tests were done to confirm the results. After weeks of waiting, the results showed a 100 percent match. While it was a relief, it was also a painful moment. I saw how much the situation affected Diamond, and as a mother, it hurt to see him in such emotional pain.”
Mobetto’s candid account highlights not only the emotional toll the journey took on both parents but also the resilience they demonstrated in facing deeply personal challenges together. Her story offers a poignant reminder of the struggles behind the joy of parenthood and the strength it takes to overcome them.
