Okanga, who recently went viral after releasing a video criticizing singer Akothee for wearing revealing outfits during an event in Ruma, Homa Bay, has escalated his attacks. In his latest remarks, he went beyond criticism and openly insulted the musician,
even going as far as calling her a harlot. According to Okanga, a woman of Akothee’s age should not be appearing in public dressed in such outfits.
The video, laced with vulgar language, quickly attracted attention and prompted Akothee to take legal action. Reports indicate that on Friday, Okanga was arrested by officers from the DCI and is expected to appear in court on Monday. The matter could turn out to be a serious case, given Akothee’s status as a brand. If she proceeds with a defamation suit, Okanga may face hefty fines or other legal consequences.
