Born in 1976, Kalekye Mumo is around 47 years old but she has found it difficult to date.
This is because of the notion that empowered women cannot be in a relationship as they will not ‘be controlled’ by men.
“As an empowered woman, as a woman who has worked hard, who has been seen to do many things, it has been difficult for me to date…. I am still single because of the notion that an empowered woman cannot listen (to a man)…” Kalekye revealed during a past interview.
Caroline Mutoko
Caroline Mutoko, 50, a well known feminist, is not yet married.
However despite not having a man in her life, Caroline Mutoko is blessed with 2 children.
Pierra Makena
Dj Pierra Makena who is now around 42 years old, is yet to be married.
However the renowned Dj and media personality has been blessed with a daughter but she has never revealed her baby daddy.
During a previous interview with local radio station Milele FM, Dj Pierra Makena confirmed that she is not engaged at the moment.
She further revealed that she has been going on several dates and she will only marry when she finds the right guy.
“I am not married but I go on so many dates. I am looking for someone to marry me. Once I find the right person, I will speak about it. Right now, I am single. If I have to get married, we must have connected so well. I don’t believe in divorce, so if I find a man, it will be for eternity,” she said during a past interview.
