Man Divorces Wife on Honeymoon After Seeing Her First Time Without Make-up

A woman was divorced by her husband during their honeymoon, just days after their wedding. According to a psychologist who counseled the unidentified woman, the bridegroom ended the marriage after seeing her without makeup for the first time.

The 40-year-old groom divorced his 35-year-old bride, claiming she did not look as attractive as she had before the wedding. He accused her of deceiving him by using heavy cosmetics, including fake eyelashes.

Dr. Molapo, a consultant psychologist, reported that his clinic received a request from the woman seeking help to overcome the psychological distress caused by her divorce.

Reports indicate that the couple went to Richards Bay for their honeymoon. During a swim, the bride’s makeup washed away, revealing her natural appearance. The groom stated that he could barely recognize her without the makeup.

The bride had worn artificial eyelashes and had undergone cosmetic surgeries before the marriage. The couple, who had met on Facebook, had been engaged for three months prior to their wedding.
