Pastor James Ng’ang’a, the leader of Neno Evangelism Center, has strongly voiced his disapproval of musician Akothee’s behavior, condemning her pattern of moving from one relationship to another as morally objectionable.
In a recent declaration, the controversial religious figure specifically urged Luo women to refrain from engaging in sexual misconduct to avoid facing divine consequences. Pastor Ng’ang’a underscored the significance of soul ties, attributing them to the decline of humanity. Despite Akothee’s considerable following in Kenya, he contends that her actions set a negative example for society.
Addressing a congregation with fervor, Pastor Ng’ang’a expressed, “The conduct of this Luo woman, known as Akothee, is nothing short of diabolical. Engaging with multiple partners is a practice that the Almighty does not condone. Nowadays, Luo women exhibit behavior that can even surpass that of the Kisii community. Shame on you, Akothee! I urge you to seek forgiveness for your actions.”
In response to Pastor Ng’ang’a’s statements, numerous Kenyan citizens have taken to social media to express their disapproval. Many argue that the pastor’s critique unfairly targets a specific community instead of addressing individual behavior. Some social media users are demanding that Pastor Ng’ang’a issue a public apology to the women of the Luo and Kisii communities within 24 hours or face potential consequences within his Gospel ministry.
