Nyako: I Ended Up With 5 Abortions, Some almost Killed Me

Controversial TikToker Nyako Pilot has recently opened up about her tumultuous past, shedding light on a series of five abortions she underwent. In a candid conversation with Oga Obinna, Nyako disclosed that she resorted to clandestine procedures due to her lack of knowledge about the fathers of the unborn children.

Recounting the risky experiences, Nyako revealed the dangerous methods employed by unqualified practitioners during these backdoor abortions. She expressed how some of these procedures nearly cost her life, involving the use of crude tools like hangers and makeshift instruments.

“I found myself in a situation where I had to undergo five abortions because I couldn’t identify the fathers of these children. Some of these procedures were life-threatening, conducted in less-than-ideal conditions by unqualified practitioners using crude methods,” Nyako shared.

Nyako also touched upon her use of the family planning pill after engaging in sexual intercourse, issuing a warning about its potential harm. She specifically mentioned a product known as Postna2, advocating for its removal from the market, citing it as a silent killer. Nyako questioned the awareness among doctors in Kenya regarding the dangers associated with Postna2 and emphasized the need for better education on the subject.

“I don’t know if Postna2 is still in the market, but that drug should be eliminated. It silently kills people, and I’m not sure if doctors in Kenya are sufficiently warning people about its dangers. Young girls, I personally don’t prefer condoms – that’s just not my choice. Instead, take P2 and go about your business, but be cautious,” she cautioned.

Drawing from her personal experiences, Nyako elaborated on the potential consequences of prolonged pill usage, emphasizing the risk of ectopic pregnancy. She explained that continued reliance on P2 could lead to the body developing resistance, rendering the pill ineffective. Nyako shared her own encounter with ectopic pregnancy, detailing how she unknowingly carried the fetus in her fallopian tube for three months, a situation that could have proved fatal.

“The more you use P2, the less effective it becomes, and there’s a point where it might fail, leading to ectopic pregnancy. In Kenya, medical issues are not always adequately addressed. In my case, the baby grew in the fallopian tube, and at three months, it could have resulted in my death as it could burst without warning. Fortunately, I had already relocated to Germany. I had taken Postna2, thinking I was in the clear. This wasn’t my first abortion; it was the third, and I ended up with ectopic pregnancy,” Nyako recounted.
