Gospel Singer Lady Bee Counts Losses as Her 5 Year Athi River Investment is Demolished

Kenyan gospel artist Lady Bee is facing significant losses after her belongings were destroyed during the recent Athi River demolition operation.

Lady Bee has been struggling with sleepless nights and an overwhelming sense of heartache as she witnessed her five-year investment crumble in mere minutes over the past three days. She shared her distress, stating, “Over the past three days, I’ve been unable to sleep. I’ve sacrificed so much for a better life, and it’s truly heart-wrenching to see five years of hard work disappear in a matter of minutes. It feels like hitting rock bottom, but I have faith that Jesus can provide comfort, restoration, and peace.”

In a video shared on her Instagram account, Lady Bee recounted the traumatic experience she endured and expressed her gratitude for surviving the ordeal. She stated, “I can’t thank God enough for saving me because I could have lost my life on Saturday. I’m here to testify that the joy of the Lord is my strength. Helplessly witnessing the destruction of my property is the most painful experience. My heart is shattered. Why wasn’t there any prior notice?”

Lady Bee also extended her condolences to fellow investors and families who are currently grappling with the distress, agony, and loss of property valued at millions. She emphasized that the demolitions were carried out without any warning and described them as heartless and inhumane.

The Athi River demolitions have resulted in hundreds of families being left without homes.
