Karen Nyamu: It’s my prayer that Samidoh and Edday get back together so we can be one big family

Karen Nyamu has recently expressed a change of heart regarding her relationship with Samidoh, retracting her earlier claims of having the Mugithi singer all to herself. In a Facebook post, the UDA-nominated senator shared her prayer for Samidoh and his wife, Edday Nderitu, to reconcile and reunite their family. Nyamu’s followers joined in, expressing their support for the couple’s reunion.

While Nyamu had previously been playfully referred to as the “first lady” due to her increasing presence alongside Samidoh, she now states that she is willing to share him with Edday, despite Edday having left him for her previously. This newfound perspective signifies a change in Nyamu’s attitude towards their relationship.

In response to a fan’s comment on Facebook, suggesting that Nyamu may be experiencing difficulties in the bedroom rather than physical abuse, as some had speculated after seeing her with a black eye, Nyamu agreed. She sarcastically replied to Triza Wainaina, stating that her critics pretend not to know about the “beating” she receives in the bedroom. This exchange sheds light on the personal dynamics of Nyamu’s relationship with Samidoh.

Following Nyamu’s boastful claims about having Samidoh exclusively, Edday shared an inspiring social media post. She urged herself and others to not only survive challenging times but also to thrive and find happiness after overcoming the obstacles that sought to destroy them. Additionally, Edday shared a quote from the book “Scars of Honour,” gifted to her by the author. The quote emphasizes how painful experiences can both blind and awaken individuals to their purpose and potential impact on the world.

In May 2023, Edday and her three children departed for the United States, bidding farewell to Samidoh. Upon their arrival in the US, they were warmly received by Edday’s friend Bernice Saroni, who resides in Boston, Massachusetts, and is graciously hosting Edday and her children during their stay.

These recent events indicate a shift in Karen Nyamu’s stance, expressing her desire for Samidoh and Edday to reconcile, while Edday seeks inspiration and strength in her journey of healing and personal growth.
