In a sincere discussion on her popular YouTube channel, the content creator openly expressed her preference for dating men who are 10 years her senior, stating that she would never consider dating a younger man or someone her own age.
According to the well-known travel vlogger, a 10-year age difference holds no significance for her. She holds the belief that men require some additional time to mature, leading her to seek older partners. Natalie explained, “If we are on the same level, then who would assume the role of taking charge and providing proper leadership for the family?”
While acknowledging that it is more common in her generation to date individuals six or seven years older, or even those of the same age, Natalie admitted to facing difficulties in dating people her own age due to feeling more mature herself.
However, it is worth noting that Natalie Tewa had taken legal action against blogger Edgar Obare after he disclosed details about her romantic involvement with former Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho.
In July 2020, Obare generated excitement by revealing that Natalie Tewa, also known as Natalie Wanjiri Githinji, had accompanied Joho and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed on their trip to Dubai. The duo traveled to Dubai on a private jet to visit former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was recovering after undergoing surgery.
As a consequence of leaking Natalie Tewa’s private and personal information from her passport, Obare was arrested and charged with unlawful publication. He pleaded not guilty at the Kiambu Law Courts and was subsequently released on bail of Ksh100,000, with the option of a Ksh300,000 bond.
Despite Natalie’s preference for dating older men, it is worth mentioning that she is currently engaged to a partner who is not significantly older than her. Recently, she accepted a marriage proposal from her longtime boyfriend, Francis Mbugua, who is based in Amsterdam.
The engagement took place on February 12, 2023, during a date with their friends.
