Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has recently fulfilled her promise of unblocking everyone she had previously blocked on Instagram. The reality TV star, known for her straightforwardness on social media, took to Instagram to express her desire for new haters, stating, “I need new haters; the old ones are starting to like me.”
Vera also announced her decision to unblock everyone, allowing them to use their real accounts to engage with her posts. She acknowledged that even though some individuals resorted to using fake accounts to stalk her, she would no longer block anyone. Embracing the idea that haters add excitement to her world, she encouraged them to remain true to their characters. Vera declared, “I am unblocking everyone, including those who have campaigned on blogs that Vera has blocked me, including my exes, one of whom will soon be my neighbor.”
Previously, Vera Sidika had gained a reputation for blocking individuals who dared to troll or speak negatively about her. She emphasized that she blocked people for a reason and believed that having numerous followers ready to attack her with negativity and trolls was not worth the hassle. Refusing to engage with those who sent her paragraphs of nonsense in her direct messages, she would simply block them, leaving them with a clean heart.
Among those whom Vera had blocked was Corazon Kwamboka, who claimed to have been blocked for no apparent reason. In response, Vera Sidika stated that those who complained about being blocked were well aware of the reasons behind their actions.
In 2019, during an interview with Wasafi TV, Vera Sidika revealed that she had blocked Otile Brown following their scandalous breakup. She made it clear that blocking him was a consequence of their split.
Last year, in June, Noti Flow disclosed that she too had found herself on Vera’s block list. Additionally, curvaceous actress Trisha Khalid expressed her confusion as to why Vera had blocked her on the platform. Taking to her Instagram stories, she questioned the social media personality and socialite’s decision. Other celebrities who found themselves on Vera’s blocklist included Risper Faith and Amber Ray.
