Sandra Khan, famously known as the Binti Kiziwi vixen, gained widespread attention after being featured in Z Anto’s hit song Binti Kiziwi. Her striking beauty captured the hearts of many across East Africa when the romantic track debuted in 2007, becoming an anthem in the region. Sandra’s captivating presence in the music video significantly contributed to the song’s success and her rise to fame.
However, Sandra’s time in the limelight was short-lived. After the success of Binti Kiziwi, she entered a romantic relationship with Z Anto, who was then living a flashy lifestyle. Unfortunately, their relationship ended three years later, prompting Sandra to seek opportunities elsewhere.
Her life took a dramatic turn when she became involved in drug trafficking. In 2013, Sandra was arrested at the Hong Kong airport and later sentenced to five years in prison in China. During her incarceration, she distanced herself from friends and family, feeling ashamed and unwilling to let them witness her difficult circumstances.
Sandra completed her sentence in 2019 and returned to her home country, Tanzania. She now resides in Dar es Salaam but has remained out of the spotlight. To date, she has not collaborated on any projects outside her work with Z Anto, marking the end of her brief yet memorable fame.
