Bradley Marongo, widely known as the “GenZ Goliath,” has captivated public interest due to his extraordinary height. At 27 years old, Marongo gained significant attention during recent anti-government protests, where he claimed to stand at an astounding 8 feet 2 inches, potentially making him the tallest person in the world.
In a recent interview, Marongo opened up about his life, sharing stories of his upbringing and current activities. He was born and raised in Majengo, Vihiga County, before moving to Nairobi with the help of a friend.
However, Marongo now faces a complicated situation as two families have come forward, each claiming him as their own. In a video, a man claimed to be Marongo’s father. Shortly after, a woman, identifying herself as his aunt, asserted that Marongo’s father had passed away and urged him to return home. She expressed shock at the appearance of another man claiming to be Marongo’s father, whom she did not recognize.
The woman warned Marongo that failing to return home could bring a curse for abandoning his roots. “You are our child. If you go somewhere else, I will curse you,” she said, holding a portrait of Marongo’s father.
In an interview with KTN, Marongo revealed that his father abandoned him and his mother shortly after his birth. He stated that he had never met his father and did not know his current whereabouts.
