Akothee’s sister, Cebbie Koks Nyasego, has recently decided to revert to her maiden name, marking the end of her one-year marriage with lawyer Steve Ogolla. Formerly known as Mrs. Ogolla E. A., she has unfollowed her husband on Instagram, deleted all traces of their wedding and vacation photos, and changed her IG name back to Elseba Awuor Kokeyo.
Speculation about their separation began circulating in mid-2023, but Cebbie denied the rumors on October 22nd when she shared a heartfelt birthday message for Lawyer Ogolla. Strangely, this post is no longer present on her IG feed.
While Cebbie has taken these steps towards separation, Steve Ogolla still follows her on Instagram, with a few pictures of them together still visible on his account.
The couple, who only had a traditional wedding on December 28, 2022, had faced earlier comments from Cebbie about her shortcomings as a wife, openly admitting that she did not engage in cooking for her husband.
