Zuhura Othman, famously known as Zuchu, has openly urged Wasafi journalists to persuade Naseeb Abdul, popularly referred to as Diamond Platnumz, to take their relationship to the next level by marrying her.
Speaking during an interview on Wasafi FM, the singer-songwriter expressed her growing concern about aging without being married. Zuchu disclosed that she and Diamond Platnumz had been in a relationship for nearly four years, but he had not shown any intentions of formalizing their union.
The “Sukari” hitmaker revealed her desire to settle down with Diamond and live as husband and wife. However, she remarked that Diamond seemed to require some form of external pressure to make a commitment.
In a light-hearted but candid statement, Zuchu suggested that Wasafi journalists could organize an internal campaign to push the WCB Wasafi boss toward marriage.
“Tell your boss to marry me; our engagement has become stagnant. I think we should print T-shirts and start a campaign here with the slogan, ‘Marry Zuchu! Marry the girl; she’s getting older… Four years of engagement is too long,’” Zuchu said.
She further added, “He’s the kind of person who needs to be forced—someone who has to be compelled.”
Zuchu went on to explain that although she and Diamond live in separate homes, they spend a significant amount of time together.
The singer also admitted to being persistent in her pursuit of the relationship, asserting that Diamond deeply loves her as well.
“I feel proud when people call me persistent. I will hold onto my love until the end because I am also loved in return. Our elders stayed in love because they were persistent,” she concluded.
Through her heartfelt appeal, Zuchu highlighted her hope for their relationship to culminate in marriage while embracing her determination to fight for the love she shares with Diamond Platnumz.
