Tanzanian artist Harmonize has issued a bold and unapologetic response to those criticizing his new hairstyle, asserting his individuality and confidence.
The Single Again hitmaker recently debuted the hairstyle, which sparked mixed reactions among his fans and followers online.
Addressing the criticism through an Instagram post, Harmonize silenced his detractors, stating that they had no right to question his personal style. He emphasized that he had outgrown the need to seek approval from others.
“Yeyote anayesema nywele zangu hazijapendeza anapata wapi ujeuri wa kumkosoa tajiri. Tushavuka kwenye kupendeza sisi wengine. Wakipendeza mabishololo wenu inatosha,” Harmonize wrote.
Despite the backlash, Harmonize remained unapologetic, confidently embracing his unique style. He encouraged his critics to focus on their own lives instead of fixating on his appearance.
Beyond his hairstyle, Harmonize recently declared himself the best lyricist in Tanzania. He highlighted his ability to compose hit songs, claiming to be the only Tanzanian musician to achieve success with a song entirely in English.
“Tangu Bongo Flava ianze, hakuna msanii yeyote aliyeimba English song ikawa hit bila kubabatiza. Hakuna anaye nikaribia hata kwa kuongea,” the Konde Gang founder confidently stated.
Harmonize’s unwavering confidence and self-assuredness continue to make him one of Tanzania’s most talked-about artists, both for his music and his personal style.
