Funding a business and starting one can be a big hustle for startups.
In most cases, a business person gets an idea of a business they want to start but then again, how do they make it work?
The story of one Tanya Irene is a motivation to many who want to venture into new hustles.
Tanya began her business with only sh 5 as a card designer while still in campus, selling them at Ksh 500.
Later on after making a good profit, she ventured in farming after buying a land in Embu.
Irene is now a designer and founder of Azzuri Designs.
“I managed to buy a piece of land in Embu county and started with chili farming before progressing to garlic and rearing rabbits,” she said.
Tanya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Marketing from the University of Nairobi after graduating in 2010.
