“Sijaona Wakinialika” Embarambamba Claims All Kenyan Tribes Love Him Except Kisii

Embarambamba has shared his early experiences in the music industry, which were marked by criticism and stigmatization.

The artist reflected on a particular incident where he faced exclusion from the lineup of performers at a presidential event in Kisii, all due to negative preconceptions.

Embarambamba expressed his disappointment that, unlike members of other tribes, he has not received any invitations from his own Kisii community to showcase his talent.

Despite his growing fame, Embarambamba believes that he has not received the support and recognition he deserves from his fellow Kisii people.

During an interview with popular YouTubers, the artist disclosed a series of instances that have left him feeling undervalued within his hometown.

Known for his unconventional and high-energy stage performances, Embarambamba voiced his dismay at not being given opportunities to perform in Kisii.

He also recounted how, at the outset of his music career, his fellow Kisii compatriots criticized him and labeled him as abnormal.

In the interview, Embarambamba shared a particularly painful memory when he was removed from the list of musicians scheduled to perform at a presidential event in Kisii.

He lamented, saying, “I have never had the chance to perform at any crusade in Kisii. In the past, people spoke negatively about me. They even branded me as a madman and argued that I shouldn’t participate in the president’s event. They even excluded me from the group of performers scheduled for the president’s visit.”

The artist conveyed his frustration, stating:

“I have never received an invitation to any event in Kisii as an artist. No Kisii native has ever extended an invitation to me. Other tribes have invited me, but not Kisii. They’ve recognized my prominence despite their initial rejection.”

In the past, Embarambamba defended his cross-dressing style while refuting claims of being a member of the LGBTQ community.

He clarified that he adopted this style to gain exposure for his new YouTube channel.

“I received a strike on YouTube, and my channel was deleted after I uploaded a video from New Life Church led by Pastor Ezekiel Odero without their consent. So, I decided to cross-dress to attract attention and utilize the opportunity to promote my new channel,” he explained.
