In our daily lives, each of us possesses a unique personal narrative that we would likely share when given the opportunity. Life presents its challenges and joys to everyone.
Samaritan 254, as he prefers to be called, shares his story of working as an undertaker and the bizarre experiences he encountered while on the job. According to him, he secured the position through his Aunt, who connected him with a group of Indians that owned a private morgue in Eldoret town. Initially unaware of the nature of the job, he was persuaded in a peculiar manner, offered a substance to smoke (bhang). However, he emphasizes that the bhang he consumed was distinct, as he was uncertain about its composition. Despite the uncertainties, he accepted the job and its conditions. Before smoking the aforementioned substance, he experienced nausea during a tour of the facility, where he glimpsed the deceased bodies he would soon be working with.
The narrative unfolds on his first day of work during the night shift, accompanied by his partner Otis. Otis, tasked with guiding him through his responsibilities, engaged in an unusual act around midnight or 2 a.m. where he used a condom and concluded his activities on a lifeless body. Otis then encouraged Stephen to follow suit with the same body.
Stephen, feeling bewildered and perplexed on his inaugural day, questioned whether he was part of a surreal movie. Despite Otis’s suggestion, he refrained from following through. However, in the following days, an opportunity presented itself when the body of a young Indian woman arrived. Stephen seized the moment, becoming the first to engage in intimate activities with the deceased.
It is essential to note that these events raise ethical concerns and underscore the need for responsible and respectful behavior in all professional settings.
