In an articulation on his Twitter account Barack Obama said, “I have had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise, Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted. On his facebook account, he asked every one to take care even as the cases appears to go down in light of the fact that risk of contacting the covid virus is still there.
The former president who is 60 years old contacted the virus after getting back from a vacation in Hawaii with his family.This makes him the second United States’ president to contact COVID-19 infection after Donald Trump back in 2020, when the cases were still server.
The former USA president has generally been in the front to encourage the his citizens and every one around the globe to take serious health measures. During his first state of union address, the sitting president Joe Biden who was also Obama’s Vice president assured all Americans that his government is coming with plans to help them move forward safely.
In his discourse, Biden said, “Because of the headway we have made this past year, Covid-19 no longer controlling our lives”.
