Realizing that discovery was imminent and facing limited means to repay, the man opted to end his life. The video captures the community’s collective anger as they organized the deceased’s final rites. However, before laying him to rest, they decided to impart a lesson through harsh beatings, expressing their displeasure at him departing with their financial burden.
The circulating video reveals the coffin being opened, with community members wielding sticks in preparation to administer the beating as a form of retribution.
This distressing incident reportedly transpired in a village in Angola, and the video was initially shared on the microblogging platform with a caption that detailed the embezzlement and subsequent suicide, emphasizing it as a lesson taught in Angola.
