Leaders allied to Deputy President, William Ruto have criticized Interior Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiang’i for revealing properties owned by Ruto in public.
Matiang’i who was appearing before the National Assembly Security Committee yesterday, September 1, 2021 tabled a list of vast properties owned by the second in command.
He went on to name the multi million Weston Hotel, the Kitengela Gas, Mutara ranch in Laikipia, Dolphin Hotel in Mombasa, Poultry Farm in Eldoret, Five choppers and two private hangars at Willson Airport.
Matiang’i’s move was however counter-attacked by Ruto’s wingman cum blogger, Dennis Itumbi who vowed to expose properties owned by President Kenyatta.
“Listening to the Ruaraka THIEF aka CS @FredMatiangi- he has just opened up what some call Unintended Consequences! – So how much Security is allocated to President Kenyatta? Let us list his businesses…. the THIEF has invited us to that discussion,” Itumbi wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
