Controversial private investigator Jane Mugo was admitted in hospital after she sustained a fracture on the hand and head injuries in a carjacking incident at Burnt Forest area, Uasin Gishu county, on Thursday night.
Her two aides were also injured and are admitted in hospital.Mugo, who is admitted at Reale Hospital in Eldoret told police her car was blocked by gunmen driving in two vehicles, both Subarus.
This comes few days after the Self-Proclaimed Africa top detective Jane Mugo fails to appear in court in case where she’s accused of threatening to kill two individuals.
Mugo on Wednesday, November 24, failed appear before Nairobi Chief Magistrate, Susan Shituubi to answer a case where she is accused of threatening to kill two individuals.
Standing in her place, Lawyer Otieno and Mwangi told the court that she is sick and currently under medical care.
“Your honour, my client called me this morning saying she is unable to attend court after the doctors recommended that she takes a bed rest after a knee procedure,” Otieno said.
However, State Counsel Alice Mahangani asked the court to compel the lawyers to produce a medical report indicating that Jane was unwell.
Mugo is accused of threatening to kill one Patrick Mugasia Kefa and Deepa Shan at different locations.
She is said to have drawn a pistol and threatened to end the life of Kefa on August 15, 2015.
On February 4, 2019, she is also said to have threatened to kill Shah at Kuuma Close in Spring Valley.
