Mukhisa Kituyi has been left badly humiliated after it emerged that the presidential aspirant assaulted a female companion said to be his mistress at a Five-star hotel in Mombasa.
According to reports seen by Muranganewspaper.co.ke, Diana Opemi Lutta reported the politician to the Nyali Police saying that she was assaulted by the Former United Nation Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Secretary General while having a good time at a Mombasa hotel.
“Assault report to the station by one Diana Opemi Lutta (who) has submitted a report today the 22nd day of May 2021, at around 0200 hours. She has been assaulted by a person known to her within Tamarind Village, namely Mukhisa Kituyi whom she claims to be her boyfriend,” reads part of the OB.
Diana in an interview said that Kitunyi was her boyfriend and she denied him sexual pressures making him turn violent on her.
The lady claimed that Kitunyi pushed her from the bed and rained kicks and blows on her after falling on the floor.
“Police advised her to seek medical attention for further police action after she was issued with a P3 form which was later filled at the Coast General Hospital,” reads the police report.
Defending himself, Kitunyi said that the allegations were politically motivated adding that he has never beaten a woman in his life.
“Someone had written a report claiming l had assaulted her but it was not true, I’ve never beaten any woman in my life nor do I intend to ever do it at any given time. We sorted out the case and it was withdrawn,” he said.
