A 32-year-old lady from Gilgil, Nakuru County left area residents in shock after killing her three kids and then later committed suicide.

Moleen Akinyi is said to have first poisoned her kids before killing her self.

According to reports, Akinyi left a detailed suicide note saying that her Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) husband based in Somalia had abandoned her and the kids.

She said that he had not been taking responsibilities and seeing that she was poor, decided to end her mystery as well as the kid’s by suicide.

The neighbors had lodged a complaint to area authorities after a foul smell emanated from Akinyi’s house after going missing for three days.
