Brian Mbege, 17, was killed after allegedly sneaking into a girl’s Dormitory in Kiambu.
The mother has however refuted claims that the Gathiruini boys Secondary School student was lynched by an irate mob as stated by the DCI.
The report had stated that Brian was beaten by an irate mob of students and staff with planks of wood.
Mary Mbage, the mother, speaking to a local daily said that the school’s management told her an entirely different story about her son’s death.

“The school’s management told me that the boy jumped from the fourth floor and that’s how he sustained the injuries,” she said.
“I have seen the body of my son and I am so saddened. The injuries on his body do not show any signs of beatings but the ones on his head show he died from trauma,” she said.
Mbage said that her son was hardworking, disciplined and jovial.
Brian died while receiving treatment at the Kigumo Level IV Hospital.
