Fresh news have come up over how Rarieda MP, Otiende Amollo, threatened Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) leader Raila Odinga before he was dethroned as the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC)
The drama is said to have started after Raila Odinga summoned Otiende Amollo and a few MPs to resolve the fights inside the Orange party over the position on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Siaya Senator James Orengo and Amollo are said to have skipped Raila’s summons and they later a wrote to Raila, threatening messages aaccording to Suba South MP John Mbadi.
Mbadi said in the message, Amollo said he would quit his position as Deputy Chair of JLAC and this is the reason he was removed from the position for attempting to undermine the ODM chief.
Amollo has however been replaced by Ruaraka MP, TJ Kajwang, who is a confidant of Raila Odinga.
