Nyota Ndogo observed that her baby did not have the typical light skin tone associated with children born to interracial parents. In a heartfelt caption alongside a photo of her newborn on February 17, 2023, she welcomed her son Abdalla while expressing the fear of facing accusations due to the baby’s complexion.

“Welcome home, my son. But with this skin tone, people might claim I cheated. You decided to take after your dad’s hair, but our skin tone is unique. Welcome, Abdalla. We carry the inheritance,” Nyota Ndogo wrote.

A portion of online users consoled Nyota Ndogo, assuring her that the baby’s skin complexion would likely lighten as he grows. Some playfully teased her about the situation.
