Residents of Ol Joroorok have been left in fear and shock after two people were killed over the weekend in their area.
On Saturday, June 19, a suspected thief was lynched by angry residents after he was found in possession of stolen chicken.
The next incident was on Monday when school going children spotted a dead body which was partly buried in a potato plantation.
The man who has since been identified as 36-year-old, Paul Maina Mboogo was a manual laborer around the trading center.
Confirming the reports, Ol Joroorok Sub-county Police Commander, Jotham Wanyama said that the two deaths were not related in any way noting that the first victim aged 50 was a chicken cage maker and was killed after being found in possession of stolen chicken.
“Anybody who will be found to have participated in the killing of Maina will be dealt with according to the law,” Wanyama said.
