Ntazola Gloria, The woman Who Took a Kanjo Askari on a ‘Road Trip’ Says She will Vie For Nairobi Woman Rep Seat in 2027

Ntazola Gloria, a resident of Nairobi, who once took a City Inspectorate Officer on an unexpected “road trip,” has recently revealed her ambition to run for the position of Nairobi County Women Representative in the 2027 elections.

During a recent interview, the 25-year-old shared her intentions to challenge Esther Passaris in the upcoming 2027 general elections. She expressed her interest in potentially giving Passaris a strong competition.

Ntazola is currently weighing her options regarding whether to run as an independent candidate or seek a party’s endorsement for the seat. She has not made a final decision on this matter.

In addition, Ntazola extended an open invitation to anyone willing to support her during the 2027 elections. She stated, “I’m ready, baby… In 2027, I’m going to run for the position of Women Representative in Nairobi. If I end up running solo, I’ll go independent. But if there’s someone ready to endorse me, baby, come forward.”

Ntazola first gained notoriety after a viral video showed her driving away with a Nairobi City County inspectorate officer, whom she strongly reprimanded for entering her car without permission. The video, which she shared on social media, depicted a situation where she was attempting to park her vehicle, but city council askaris approached her and appeared to disregard her explanations.

After a heated argument with Ntazola, two City Inspectorate Officers left the car. However, one officer, seated in the front of her car, remained in place, prompting Ntazola to drive away with him. This incident drew significant attention and contributed to her public profile.
